WeldTec Attends 5G Smart Steel Application Scenario Seminar & Group Standard Launching Ceremony

On the afternoon of August 16, 2022, the 5G Smart Steel Application Scenario Seminar and the launching ceremony of the group standard 5G Smart Steel Solution Specifications was successfully held at Fujian Sanming Iron and Steel (Group) Co., Ltd. Song Junmin, Sales Director of Guangdong WeldTec Technology Co., Ltd., was invited to attend the event.

Hosted by the Yangtze River Delta Steel Industry Development Association and Fujian Sanming Iron and Steel (Group) Co., Ltd., and co-organized by China Unicom (Fujian) Industrial Internet Research Institute, the conference aims to set industry benchmark models, promote mutual learning and accelerate the formulation of industrial standards. Centering on practical project demands of the steel industry, participants conducted in-depth discussions on 5G application scenarios, network capabilities, pilot planning and other key technical topics.

The event gathered more than 50 representatives from well-known enterprises, universities and industry associations, including Huawei Technologies, Fujian Sansteel Group, Hikvision, Anhui University of Technology, Liaoning Jinding, as well as Fujian branches of China Unicom, China Mobile and China Telecom. Six professional technical reports were delivered during the seminar, enabling active technical interaction and in-depth exchanges between guests and professional technicians from Sansteel Group.

Moving forward, the organizing committee will launch a series of technical exchange activities based on the scenario application specifications of the 5G Smart Steel Solution group standard. The event is committed to empowering intelligent manufacturing transformation in the steel industry and further promoting the high-quality intelligent development of industrial manufacturing sectors.
